Fun Tutorial by Dorymar!

Hello everyone!  My name is Dorymar Pérez and I’m super excited to be a guest designer today! I would like to share with you a fun layout I designed with the April Main Kit. I love all the different paper designs, flowers, chipboards, buttons; everything is gorgeous in this kit!

 

For this layout, I wanted to recreate a flower shop.  I started by reducing the base paper to 11 ½ x 11½ (cut ¼ from each side),  then use the back of the paper as a guide to cut a square in the center and save the tags that are included in the design on the back.

Then I selected the paper named Home Delivery and did some fussy cutting as follows:

  I cut the curtain, the flowers and from the center, I cut a piece that measures 11 ½ x 6 ¾.

 I used a cream cardstock as a base. I put 3d foam tape on the back of the letter paper to give it dimension. In the center, Then I put the flowers in 3d foam tape and glue the piece to the page.

 I used the  pieces above to decorate and add dimension to the page. Some were cut out of the papers and the others are found in the chipboards phrases and accents.

I added some wooden sticks to simulate signs.
