Hi everyone! So happy you're here again to see another of my tutorials for this month. As I got the chance to play with the February Creative Kit as well as with the Main kit I made another quick tutorial, but now using the Creative kit! I love the PhotoPlayPaper "Love Notes" collection in this kit so much and when I saw the die-cut frames and the bags of sequins that are included in this kit I just knew what I wanted to do!! Here's the page I made and see what I did with the sequins and one of the frames: Let me quickly show you what I did to create this page. I placed everything I thought I wanted to use on my dining room table and got started: I really love the little bags of sequins and decided to adhere the one with the pink sequins behind one of the frames.  Using my sewing machine I stitched the plastic bag closed: And cut off the top: Next I put a little of adhesive behind one of the frames and glued the bag behind it (the size of the plastic fits exactly be...

Sketch Fun with Yvette!

Image
Hi My Creative Scrapbook Fans!!!  Today I'm sharing a step by step tutorial that I created using the February sketch!    Here's a look at the fabulous sketch designed by  Laura !  I started my layout off by using a small plate to create a circle. Once I had the circle cut out, I added some machine stitching around the perimeter and then adhere the circle onto my white cardstock base.    I popped my photo up with foam tape adhesive for some added dimension and add the strips of patterned papers to the bottom of my page as shown in the sketch.       Next, the embellishments. I chose a couple of larger cardstock shapes from the ephemera pack and arrange them on the left hand side of the photo.  Next, I move down to the bottom of the page and create a smaller cluster using a couple of ephemera pieces.  I also added this cute button I had in my stash, to the center of the flower. At this point, I felt like something was mi...

Step By Step with Aimee!

Hello friends! Aimee here and I have another step by step tutorial for you today. This layout is somewhat simple but I really wanted to focus on 2 things. First, the picture of my sweet daughter and second,  journaling  of what her favorites were at that time (which is hidden). This picture of her was taken in the Spring so I wanted all of the elements of the Creative kit to reflect that. Here is a look at the fabulous February creative kit that I used for my layout... I started out with a sheet of white 12x12 cardstock and pulled out some of the softer "springy" die cuts and frames. I started this process by adhering the two frames down on to the cardstock with the pink one overlapping the greenish blue frame. Next, I took a piece of 8 1/2" x 6 1/4" white cardstock and folded it in half to make a card base. I matted my picture with the pink flower pattern paper and adhered to front of card base. For the inside, I adhered this printed list of all her favorites from...
